Hey, Chris here again,
Going to finally nail down some of what we have planned regarding the studio moving forward and to lay down what is happening.
So as you know we have been sitting here enjoying the success of “QUAD!”, never did we think it would get as many downloads let alone make some money, so again from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for all your support.
Whilst some people where happy with ”QUAD!” we also know some also where disappointed in what we came out with, bit this is the nature of the business we will make things people like and some things people won’t like.
Moving forward though we have goals and QUAD was able to help us in more ways than we could have ever imagined. So, what’s next for us? Well hopefully the next little bit of information can clear somethings up.
First, Combine 7, it’s been in the works for a while now and what is its current status. It’s on hiatus, the lead coder, fellow SS owner Jeremy, got an amazing new job that has really sucked away 90% of his time. He has allowed me to continue doing some awesome things with the team in Launceston but for now C7 is on hold.
Secondly, more QUAD, like I said before whilst some liked it and some didn’t we are still going to do what we can to support it, the upcoming themes update is doing a bit of an overhaul of some of the games systems but we are keen to show you what will come out of it soon.
Next is our major project, currently called Project Torch, this will be unveiled at MAIcon 2017 in Launceston. Playable for the first time the concept demo will be available to all attendees and we are hoping to grab some awesome feedback before we head to PAX Aus.
So, what does this all mean? Well it means for SS that we will be heavily pushing what we can in regard to our major project for PAX, once the reveal at MAIcon is done, once PAX is done we are going to sit back and really plan out what we want the company to do over the 2017/2018 holiday period.
Once again thank you for all your support and we will be updating you all again soon.
