It’s finally the day! The team over at Unlucky Magician have managed to release their first title, .match, now available on both the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store. What a journey it has been; for those who don’t know, Unlucky Magician is a collaboration studios whose purpose is to work with a variety of artists, musicians, programmers and more to create twists and turns on tried and true classics.
.match is a project that the team focused on working towards to challenge themselves to make something by themselves as their first game as well as something they would want to play. The match-3 genre is heralded by such greats as Candy Crush and Bejewelled but in the mobile space these have a very monetary focus which the team wanted to strip back.
So in .match you can get such experiences as two high score game modes and a relaxing practice mode to zone out to. As anyone knows it’s a miracle any games get released altogether so well done again to the team who managed to work from beginning to end on the release.
And thank you to all those who supported the teams throughout their development, be it Unlucky Magician or Salty Studios Team 1 and Team 2.
